Ah, football season is so great. It’s hard to get any work done on my redesign when there is so much football on TV though. Oh well, here is what I found interesting this week:
This post by Jeff is kind of like a tragic comedy. While it is laughable how ridiculous it is that it will take that long for the HTML 5 spec to become “Proposed Recommendation”, it is also sad how long it takes for advances in browsers to actually happen.
Jeffrey Zeldman points out that AIGA is really not catering to Web Designers. I think they need to reevaluate their thinking because the Web is almost more important than any other form of media these days.
Some nice tips to keep in mind to prevent from burning out. This is especially important to people like me who have a full-time job and freelance on the side.
While Zeldman’s proposal will never happen, this article really shows why he is such a prominent figure in the Web community. Even though this is not a web related article, he is such a great communicator.
WordPress is my tool of choice these days, and this is a nice collection of resources.
